CGX Auto Guider Port Trouble?

I have a CGX, with a 10" sct,  permanently mounted in my observatory.  It has worked perfectly since I got it over a year ago.  I know you may damage the mount by plugging in the hand controller to the auto guider port.  I did plug in my Meade LPI into it and, since then, my Star Sense has placed the scope several degrees off on Dec and a few on RA.  It is a consistent distance off, regardless of the object I slew to after initial alignment.

Did my guide camera damage my mount?
How to fix it?

Celestron has not been in any hurry to respond to my technical requests.

Thanks all
Dale

While AM is THE site for buying/selling/trading gear, not so much when it comes to the forums, they simply dont get much traffic, there are a few of us who try to help those who ask when we have something helpful to say. In my case I have never owned a CGX so......... Glad you figured it out. Cloudy Nights has a much more active set of forums and could be said to be the place to go when you need a lot of input on a problem.
