Takahashi HD-4/5 Motor Polarity?

Anyone know what the polarity is for the Takahashi HD-4/5 motor? Or at least Takahashi DC power needs in general? I know its 6v and a marking on the PC board of the hand controller suggests the center pole is positive but I need to make sure before I feed power to it.
