I have a nice late 90's manual Vixen Super Polaris with no motors (it has the declination motor bracket built in). I am looking at converting it to GOTO but have two questions:
Is the Sky Sensor set-up on the motors such that I could put the vixen motor clutches for the MT-1, on the MT-2 or MT-4 motors that come with the Sky Sensor so I can use the slow motion controls if I want to?
A year ago the Sky Sensor 2000PC seemed to be selling used, but in great condition, for around $650, but now the Vixen Star book and motors sell for about $699 new. So what would be a fair price range for a SS2000PC in MINT condition in todays market?
I believe that the Vixen Star Book will not fit on the Super Polaris, so that is not an option.
Thanks!
