Can't focus with 2" focuser

Hi, I have a friend who has a 10.1" Coulter Odyssey Dobsonian. With his 1 1/4" focuser he had no problems. After he went to a 2" Orion focuser, he can't get it to focus properly. Both drawtubes are the exact length, Can anyone tell me this is happening? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Bob
This sounds to me like the focuser height is the problem, OR it is possible that the 1.25"/2" adapter is a tall or high hat. If it is the adapter you can get a flat top type OR you may have to go to a low profile focuser. I am assuming here that there is not enough in-focus room.
