Hi, the inner lense on my 60mm unitron has few chip's about the width of the spacer's around outer edge. Is this going too affect performance and is it ruined? Thanks, John

I agree it will have little or no visible effect.
You can either paint the chips black, or fashion
a ring to stop the aperture down by 2 or 3mm.
For example, you could carefully make a ring
from black construction paper, and mount it in
the lens cell behind the glass elements.
