I'm considering one of two used 90mm refractors, a Williams Optics Megrez 90 FD and a Stellarvue SV90T. Both get good reviews. I would be using the scope for visual viewing on an alt-az mount and am interested in the portability, especially for travel. (Both are short enough to fit in carry on luggage.) The SV90T is a triplet and quite a bit heavier than the Megrez 90. Is it worth it? Any advice?
