20 x 120 modified elbow telescope restoration...

i have one of these old beasts that i'm trying to get to working order. i think it dates from the early 50's. These 'scopes were modified from the venerable M-17 elbow telescope. It was known to some older observers as an 'Apogee Scope' or perhaps 'Moonwatch Scope.'

i need to find a new (undamaged) prism for it, presently i'm taking one from my working M-17.

The two element objective lense was disturbed by a previous owner. i need to know what the proper spacing may be. The cell is tight and any added material that hangs over the edges of the lense will bind it up in the cell.

Anyone out here familiar with this 'scope? There's a pic of one on the cover of the Scott Huston book, and i'm told he used the heck out of his...

Thanks!
