Focuser height/ eyepiece focal length?

:S Thanks for looking.
I'm at the point on my truss scope to adjust (trim poles) to set my focal length for eyepieces.
In the past centering on the travel was good enough.
I'm getting fussy now.
Does anyone know the differeance in eyepieces as there distance from the focal point?
Keep looking up

Chuck,

When I did my truss, I put my EP's in another scope and measured the tube height at focus for each. This will give you the difference for the EP's you have in stock. I think the range on mine was about 1.25". My 19 pan was on one end (racked in) and my 8.8 UWA was on the other (racked out). Of course I threw out my notes and am working completely off memory on the numbers, but I would recommend the method.

You can look up the specs on all the Televue eyepieces here:
http://www.televue.com/engine/page.asp?ID=144
If you have at least one of them, you can measure the focuser position on that one and compare it to the focuser position on your other eyepieces to get the rest of them.
