Gluing felt to rings

I have a set of rings from Orion that are a slightly larger diameter than what I need. I have some 1/8" thick felt I'd like to glue on the inside of the rings. Any thoughts here? I was thinking of using contact cement.

TIA

I used a fairly standard spray on from 3m, which is a contact cement if one spays both surfaces and lets them dry for 60 seconds before connecting. It worked fine. I think that it was what Joe Nastasi advised me to use.

Use some rubber contact cement. Swab both the rings and felt, let them sit for 30 -60 sec., and stick together. If you need something thicker than the felt use both cork and felt. I picked up some cork and felt at a craft store for less than $8.

Good luck,
