powered ground board

Hello
I've updated my scope again.
Installed a powered ground board.
Has anyone dealt with the power dropping out temporarily due to dew or stray piece of grass?
I still need to install a capacitor across the leads.
Wondered if a smaller gell battery on the scope side of
the rings would prevent my DSC from getting lost with a power interruption.
The dew heaters are simple enough that this doesn’t affect them
Any help or thoughts would be great
Keep looking up
Chuck

Hi Chuck,
You should have (dual)two brushes, that will keep this from happening. Also make sure the brushes move smoothly with the spring holding them firmly to the power plate.
I have never had a problem myself, with dew or dirt or grass.
