Testing my equatorial mount finally

Finally finished my platform enough to test it with the scope on it. This might actually work!

Cool! It looks good, did you make it all yourself or buy a kit?
I have used mine three times now and it is very enjoyable.
I have done a lot of small changes to it to improve things a little.
I made it so the battery is located on the base board, installed a permanent compass, chnaged the degree from 32* to 33.5* and made some cups for the feet to alow me to adjust for different latitudes up to 36.5*, put a curly telephone handset wire on the hand speed control to alow it to reach the focuser board and wrap around the scope once in case I forget it! I also increased the travel a little to give me 1 hour and 15 minutes run time. Plus I refinished parts of it with new urethane.
I wish I had gotten one of these earlier, they are really cool for planetary.
