I've been ordering parts for my project and have a question about truss tubes. Are these what I want?

They are milled and are shiny aluminum, but I don't know if that's what I want. They didn't have anodized. Or should I just put foam insulation on the tubes ala' Obsession?

What size scope are you building? That usually will determine the tube size. the size you are thinking about will probably be OK for a 12.5" scope, and use pipe insulation "Obsession style". The tubes tend to get cold in the winter, and the insulation is a lot easier on the hands!!
