Here is an image of Comet PanStarrs sporting a tail more than 5° long taken May 26 using a 3" F/4 astrograph and Sloan Yellow Filter (1) 6 min exposure...

Here is last nights image of Comet Pan-STARRS May 30, 2013 a bit more screen stretch now shows some flux nebula around Polaris and SH2-178. Again (1) subframe 6 min exposure using a yellow filter and 3" F/4 astrograph remote...

Oh its about 5.5° from Polaris to the core of the comet

Another Pan-STARRS Comet shot with Beta Ursae Minor Kochab, a satellite, and some faint nebula. This is a single 15 min exposure using the 4.5" F/4 astrograph and yellow light filter. Taken June 15, 2013 from Sierra Chaparral Observatory.
