Observing from sea level, with a suburban sky: what kind of magnification one can expect using an 8" or 10" scope?
Rarely, I can get over X150 from my San Francisco suburb back yard, once I got to X200 observing Jupiter with my CR6.
I read from an overseas forum (France) that they can observe at X325?
I am suspicious of such claims? But again?
