The Lunar X, also known as the Purbach or Werner Cross, an X-shaped illumination effect involving various rims and ridges between the craters La Caille, Blanchinus, and Purbach, was predicted to occur today at 19:00 UT. I've been observing it with a 6" f/8 Orion XT6 Dob. The terminator is well past the X at this time.
