Did anyone make it to the mason dixon this year?
How was the new location?

I didn't personally make it out there, but some guys (including Rob Teeter of "Teeter's Telescopes) from my club got out there and posted on their BBS about it:

Take care,

I was there for a couple hours on Saturday. Location
wasn't bad. Lots of room, very flat, and good
horizons all around. Also lots of light domes
along horizon, but tolerable. You could still get
great views of M-objects. M51 spiral arms
were a little washed out, but still plainly visible
in a 20 Obsession. Veil was OK in OIII + 20".
Not bad for this part of the country, but nothing
like Cherry Springs (superb), either.
