OSP 2006 was just great. the weather was awesome, got there Tuesday, and it was clear each night, and it looked like it was going to be clear for a few more nights after the official party ended. What a great time, with 700 folks enjoying the clarity of high desert dark skies, with a mocha in one's hand at 2 am! Lot of good vendors, including TeleVue and Astronomy magazine. Plus having showers, food, and the satellite internet connection again was terrific.
Can't wait until next August for OSP '07.

You are right on all accounte!!! Was looking for you but didn't seem to find you. I hung out at the 30" scopes when I wasn't giving tours of the observatory. Wish we could have met. Maybe next year.
