Great blue heron feeding

A little gruesome. Pitty I chopped off the heron's feet.

Thanks for the tip, it makes perfect sense. I used auto mode with default settings for most of these shots, I really need to study the coolpix manual. Also, I realized you need to practice this in advance, all those settings and dials are overwhelming in the field.
