They can't explain the "angry" hot weather (LOL) as correlating to ENSO, so they leap to the conclusion that it's caused by man. Now THAT is some high grade scientific ethics.
Not to mention poor data. Eschenbach checked out and found:
Out of the 112 ACORN-SAT stations, no less than 69 of them have at least one day in the record with a minimum temperature greater than the maximum temperature for the same day. In the entire dataset, there are 917 days where the min exceeds the max temperature
While they are jumping to conclusions, the least they can do is provide the Aussie summer temperature trends and let the reader validate the conclusions. Can you see the man-caused global warming singature here?
