California gas prices are set to go up a dime per gallon on 1-1-15. Here's one way to help stop it:

Unfortunately the gas prices in California will never be equitable. The gas taxes are not linked to roads and things like that, it is a way to boost revenue. As long as we have politicians in Sacramento that are wanting to spend money on just about everything, like the stupid High Speed Rail project, we will be paying through the nose.
The problem is, you can't have a liberal state and not have the people strapped for the cost of every bleeding heart liberal agenda. We spend so much money on things that we could cut back on, but that is not about to happen as long as the Democrats run the state.

Here in NY (as in CA) we have similar punitive taxes on gas, sales, houses, schools, roads, fees, surcharges, food, income...endless list. Now what do NY and CA have in common...Hmmmmmmm. Oh Yeah! Fleeing businesses and skilled workers; once thriving economies driven into ruin by---blue bureaucrats. The most productive are voting with their feet!
