French Terrorist Alert Level

I am reading a Ben Coes novel - Power Down and it mentioned our terrorist alert system. I remember how after infusing Homeland Security with billions of dollars we ended up with an alert system that did nothing but scare the general population. That got me to checking to see if other western countries have similar systems. I found the French system. I like it in that it tells the populace how to deal with the alert levels.

I love it! I think the best one for us was comedian Ron White's idea of a two level system: 1. Get a helmet. 2. Put it on. 8)
