I heard on the news tonight the Garmin is concerned about the impact 40,000 lightsquared towers will have on GPS units, not only theirs but their competitors as well as the airforce:

I wonder what lightsquared would go to the GPS units installed in telescopes. I think it's a safe bet they would be jammed as well...
