Need a new lawnmower

My lawnmower died today after 5 years of exemplary service and the past 2 years of problematic service. It's time for a new one. I did my standard first step and checked to see what Consumer Reports had to say. I am leaning towards the Toro Recycler 20031 ranked 2nd only to the Honda HRX217TDA. Anyone own the Toro?

Thanks,

Tom

Bill,

The Toro is side vavle where the Honda is OHV. $300 more for the Honda, but that's ok if I get $300 more morth of performance/convenience.

I just have a 1/9 acre yard, so nothing big required. Just want something that is convenient and will last 10 yers +.

I have a toro that is 15+ years old. Even though I don't use it much anymore, it still starts on 1st or 2nd pull. I also have a weedeater bought at the same time, still runs great. Used it 2 hours today sad

I went and got a Lawn Pro Gold series model 10656. Apparently, it is identical to the Toro Recycler, but with a Honda engine, which I like. Should provide years of good mowing.

I also got my Fujinon 16x70 binocs in. Which one do I play with first? Well, neither. They both brought rain.

Clear skies,

TOm
