I picked up a WatchTime magazine in an airport the other day. It's the best of magazines and the worst of magazines. It's pretty cool to see the wide variety of fine Swiss watches in the world. Some truly are engineering marvels! On the other hand, it's also totally depressing to know how much a fine watch costs. I thought a really, really, good watch might be $10,000. Apparently, that is for the not yet rich! WatchTime has tons of watches that are in the neighborhood of $349,000. 8O
That made me wonder about the Stauer watches that get advertised in USA Today for about $99. Anyone have any luck with those?
