White Castles / Krystals

Since we had so much fun with IHOP, I'm thinking we need a good discussion of White Castles / Krystals...

Topics might be--

1) Craziest people seen at either establishment.

2) Longest road trip to obtain burgers from either establishment.

3) Post-White Castles Stress Disorder. (After age 35, does just driving by a White Castles cause gastric distress?)

Yes, you shiny happy people out west can substitute Jack-In-The-Box in your discussion, but it doesn't really have the same "As Seen On Cops" vibe.

White Castles.... aren't those the plain bite size little mini-burgers with little or nothing on them?

You need to come out West and try a Murder Burger (near U. C. Davis in California).

I once saw a Korean and an Indian guy at White Castle. They seemed stoned

Yesterday, we drove over to Panama City and got Krystals and they were good. I'm thinking Krystals has an edge over White Castles because -
- they are somehow Krystal burgers are a little milder than onion-carpeted White Castles.
- you can get Krystal Chiks (chicken sandwiches) in addition to burgers.
- during the summer you can have three spicy chiks for lunch and it's ok with your spouse. 8)
