Trump border czar, Tom Homan, who was on the Bill Maher show last Friday evening extolling the virtues of the proper way of immigrants waiting in line to enter America and thereby doing the right thing:

"President Donald Trump's border czar Tom Homan accepted a $50,000 bag of cash from an undercover FBI agent last year..."

"In the alleged scheme, Homan promised immigration-related government contracts when he joined the Trump administration in exchange for the money,..."

"FBI Director Kash Patel ordered the investigation closed over the summer, one of the sources said. Homan could not be reached for comment."

"The probe into Homan started around August 2024 near the end of President Joe Biden's administration and stemmed from a separate national security investigation, one of the sources told Reuters."

"In that unrelated probe, the target repeatedly brought up Homan, saying he was collecting bribes in exchange for future government contracts, the two sources told Reuters."

"An undercover sting operation was set up, and Homan was caught on a recording accepting a $50,000 bribe in a bag from the restaurant chain Cava, the sources said."

It's so depressing to think we have over three more years of this clown show left!

Trump pushes justice department to prosecute his political opponents

President Donald Trump has called on the country's top law enforcement official, Attorney General Pam Bondi, to more aggressively investigate his political adversaries.

In a social media post addressed directly to Bondi, he said: "We can't delay any longer, it's killing our reputation and credibility."

Trump expressed frustration that "nothing is being done", before calling on Bondi to investigate former FBI director James Comey, New York Attorney General Letitia James and Democratic Senator Adam Schiff, who oversaw his first impeachment trial.

Shortly after, he posted again to praise Bondi who he said was "doing a great job".

So, to make this even worse, apparently, this social media outburst by Trump was a private message that was accidentally made public and has since been deleted. Plenty of people had archived it before it was deleted, and since then, Trump has attempted to smooth things over by posting praise for Bondi. So, basically, Trump tweeted publicly the Watergate scandal on steroids, and it barely even moves the outrage meter. We have all become completely numb to his abuses, it seems.
