God Created the Heaven and the Earth

Please listen to the attached NASA URL Christmas Eve Broadcast from Apollo 8. Even NASA believes that God created the Heaven and the Earth.

I pray that all of you will have an open mind, be enlightened, and will accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. There is only one way to God, and that is through the Lord.

Merry Christmas and may God bless everyone in this forum.

Jim

P.S. If NASA made that broadcast in this day and age of Heathens and Atheists, I am sure that they would have ACLU lawsuits against them. It is really a sad state of affairs.

NASA doesn't believe anything, it's a vehicle operating organization, not a living person with feelings or beliefs.

The link is to quotes by the individual astronauts quoting the Bible, not NASA the organization, who are, of course, humans with feelings and beliefs and religions just like lots of people. This should hardly be surprising.

Really?

I thought it was the Big Bang and everything kind of fell into place after that or maybe I'm missing something.

OK Jim, I'll bite.

First, remember that this happened almost 40 years ago. There's probably not one current NASA employee who was working there when this happened.

Second, do you REALLY think that an astronaut reading a scriptural text represents the official position of the organization, or the people in it? Do you really think that the majority of the engineers, astrophysicists, geologists, and cosmologists in NASA think that the Universe was created in 6 days, or do you think maybe they are researching the Big Bang and subsequent 13 billion years? If it's the former I want my tax money back.

Third, these trolls of yours are really annoying. They're like a car wreck...I try not to slow down and look but just can't help myself.
