I believe that God directed evolution and the evolution should be taught in schools, however, Intelligent Design should also be mentioned. Before discussing evolution, it should sjimply be stated that some folks believe in Intelligent Design even though there are no scientific facts for substantiation. It is a FACT that many folks believe in Intellignet design and therefore that fact should be stated.

Even Atheists have to accept the fact that many folks of all races and educational backgrounds believe in Intelligent Design. Therefore, this fact needs to be mentioned. Schools should not deny this simple fact nor should they attempt to deprogram children of the religion that they have been taught by their parents.

It would seem logical to me if you're taking a French class you go there to learn French not Spanish, Latin or Greek.

Same way with Chemistry, Physics and Anthropology. You go there to learn science, not religion or other hairy fairy stories.

Hi Sandy,

Yes, I am a Southpark fan and did not catch any of the Christmas specials. I will try to rent them at the video store. Maybe in the future, I will change my avatar to Mr. Hanky. :-)
