I just received permission from Travis Rector (Univ. of Alaska Anchorage) to post a few images of my Cygnus Bubble Nebula PN G75.5+1.7 discovery taken by him with the 4 meter Mayall telescope at Kitt Peak. You can find these incredible images on my website at http://tinyurl.com/5q4qnu by scrolling down the page to the Kitt Peak link. It’s amazing what “big aperture” can do.

These images are courtesy of Dr. Rector, H. Schwieker/WIYN and NOAO/AURA/NSF.

Best Regards,

Cool images. The ink isn't even dry on them yet. Any details on time, camera, pixel size, filter width, processing notes, etc? Just that "4-meter" note.
