150 minutes of HA data (5 min subs) taken thru the venerable 8) Orion ST120 @ F4. Manually guided with Stellacam II thru Orion ED80 @ F15. Atik 16 monochrome camera. Mount is a G11.

Astroart 4.0 sigma combine with hot pixel removal. Black & white thresholds adjusted slightly. No darks used.

Nice shot!

CCDSft has both hot and cold pixel removal which seems to work pretty well. I'll usually go in with the clone tool in photoshop and clean up stray hot and cold pixels as well.

I used to do what Phil said, but if you dither your subexposures you don't have to do any cleanup at all!
It's great for us lazy guys.
