Well. after only 8 months of trying to get out on a good night, I finally got an image with my new ML8300, MI-250 mount and new pier. Actually, the camera I have had for 8 mounts, but the mount and pier are only a month old. wink
I chose a simple subject, something in a good part of the sky with some detail and nice star filed background, M8.
Here is a link to a larger image, but they will not allow my full resolution image of 3326 x 2504 pixels, so it is sized down and compressed a bit to 1600 x 1200 so I could put it in the gallery. Wish I could show the full version, but oh well.

Here is a more compressed and smaller version that will work here.
Hope you like it. grin

Very nice looking M8. I like the colors and shading. For the record, I can see the dark circles too, but I wonder if that is some kind of artifact from the magnifier? Even without it, they "look" sharpened on close inspection, but from any "comfortable" viewing distance they just look like pinpoints. Could it be some artifact from the shrinking?
