These are the first two images taken with new Hutech 400D. First is M8. Four, 90 sec. images, no dark subtract, unguided. I was dissapointed that I couldn't get round stars with a longer exposure on my Atlas EQ-g. I thought I had a good polar alignment. The scope is a William Optics Zenithstar 80 ED II. Processed with Nebulosity. Comments and suggestions are welcome.
Thanks,
Joe Moskowitz

Polar alignment is only one thing. Next comes periodic error which will make your stars oval in the RA direction. You will need to guide to eliminate that.
