Got more data last night. Seeing was much better and transparency was very good for around here.

Approximately 7 hours of dat, 10 minute subs, 305F3.8 RH and STL11k camera. This is a reduced size image. The full resolution image shows countless faint galaxies, some of which are very small and can be seen in the area to the left and up from M106 as tiny little dots.

This is a full resoluton crop of the area just above and to the left that shows lots of little galaxies. They look like stars, but I believe they are very faint distant galaxies.

Re-processed for more contrast and detail. Cropped to show the main galaxies.

I just do visual; no photography. I have always found M106 at a dark site to be one of those objects, that, the longer you look at it, the bigger it gets. I would think you could get lost in there processing an image!
