This image of M107 almost wasn't. Data was from early May and it was poor. Seeing was not what was needed for globular clusters and the data had tracking errors. I almost threw it out. But I decided that the image I had of M107 needed update so I took a shot at the data. There was star trailing repair in the processing and I actually used some of the earlier image data to help core definition. The resulting image is at:

The image data was taken at 2x2 bin and later up sampled to 200% ( like it would be if I had taken the data at 1x1 bin)

Scope - C8 at f/7.5
Artemis285 IR UV Block and RGB filters
G11/Gemini
Guiding - Megrez II 80 mm at 1350 mm FL, DSI Pro, PHD Guiding

Hi Jim, nice image. smile I do the same with my binned data. I find that color data seems to fair very well with this methods.
