New camera coming!

I have been looking at a Sony 694 chipped camera for a while. Had to do a bit of research before deciding, the TEC Field Flattener is necessary due to the sensitivity in Blue. But now with some real-time testing completed by a couple of guys, the results show the FF does indeed correct for the Blue and no more Blue Bloat.

So, I found a used (well, never really used with only a few subs taken) ATIK One 6.0 (With OAG Kit)and will receive it soon. Not sure, but maybe I can test it next new Moon.

Hope to see some nice results from it, the chip is very quiet, hot pixels are few and small too. I received a 1200 second dark frame taken at -15c, it looks pretty nice! This is it with no stretch, pretty hard to see the hot pixels, but you can tell the camera is very noise free. I stretched the dark frame and looked at it, really good.

Hi Floyd,
I am excited to see some results, I wish you low noise, good MTF, and the best SNR under perfect skies, happy photon hunting...
