Can anyone give me a quick hand on photoshop. I'm confused on the one that I need. Is it CS6 or is there a cheaper one that works without unneeded bells and whistles. Thanks

CS5 is very good and has all that is needed. CS6 goes into video and web more. CS-2 works but the brushes and other things are just not as good as CS5. CS5 is available but you must look for it. Still cost is high at least $500 with one new one for sale on Ebay for $600.
Otherwise just buy the newest for $10 or so a month from Photoshop.
