I purchased an after market upgrade called a MTS-3DSI for my mount before the new SkyScan came out. It has all the same features and then some. My favorite is the PEC that can be programed through autoguiding. I also am still using the original motors with a different gear box. I am in the process of changing over to better motors to get reasonable slew speeds (right now I am at 50x Siderial). It is ver accurate though since I always off set from a star.

A plus to the upgrade I chose is that it can be used with ANY mount that uses step motors, like one that I may build later...
