Ok, it's been YEARS since I posted. But, since then I've learned a lot about running a remote observatory, imaging, and processing. Here's my take on one of my favorites, Running Man. Taken from the DGRO Observatory at Rancho Hildalgo. RC 14.5 with an AP U16M CCD. 6x15min RGB, 10x15min L, and some 8x30min Ha thrown in for good measure.

This image is reduced to 25% for file size.

Cheers,
Greg

Very cool shot and very deep. That dust turned out nice and dirty. I guess with the RC, you don't even have to add the diffraction spikes.

Hi Greg,

Hello there "neighbor" (my obs is next door to DGRO)! Welcome back to the imaging fold!

That's an excellent shot! I love the "folds" of dust in that area!
