I am considering purchasing a SBIG ST8XE. To make imaging easier and more fun through a 12" f10 or f6.3 via reducer (if it is possible through a 12") Would you recommend ABG or NABG, please help

Easy equates to ABG. You do not have to worry about blooming. You will need to take iamges that are about twice as long, however, since the anti-blooming features cut down the amount of light that hits the pixel. So it is a trade-off - do you want the convenience of no blooms, or the convenience of shorter exposures and some bloom removal?
