Active Ventilation and HiRes WebCam Imaging

Hi,

I was able to image the effects on imaging at 0.165 seconds of arc with/without active ventilation with a fan on my 12 inch Newtonian.

The improvement is noticable and I thought you might be interessted in that hust before the great Mars opposition.

Hi Tom,

Very good article , the benefits of cooling can
be easily see in your images .
You are pulling the air away from the mirror instead
of blowing against it , you must have found that pulling
the air is better , what are your thoughts on that .
