Hello guys,

back from holidays and back to "work" grin
The seeing wasn't very inviting, but I knew that Italy would have been hit by a lot of rain in the next few days, so I took the chance.

All data are on the image. I used again the FITS export option in Streampix and captured with the 16bit option.
As usual all comments and tips are welcome.

Ciao

I'm still working on some of the files I collected, although I don't expect much from them. Alas, the seeing was not very good, so I had to take what was available sad

As expected, Italy has been hit by heavy rains and it seems it will last until Tuesday :C :C :C :C

Ciao everybody

Hello Robert and sorry for the late reply.

Thanks for your kind comments: it can get a little frustrating at times, but it is a wonderful "sport" grin

I use Iris to process fits files directly. Alas, Registax can't align and stack sequences of fit files. This way you can take advantage of the fact that the LU075 can record 10 bit images. It is great to have single raw frames with +32,000 shades instead of the usual 255. The latest release of Iris has an automatic aligning and stacking routine that's much like Registax's and stacking fits is way better than stacking bmps wink
However, the right release to be able to export FITS is 3.17.1, which resolved many other problems with previous versions. The most important being that it is now possible to capture in B&W with a filter without seeing the bayer matrix grin

Thanks again Robert.

Ciao

Luca

Gorgeous solar images Luca!! grin

I've been doing the same thing with Streampix, instead of converting it to an avi which is lossy, I just export it as either fits, bmp, or tif. I suppose any of those file formats are lossless?

ciao
