First Mars

This is my second attempt at Mars with my Cannon G3 so go easy on me guys. The first time out the seeing did not cooperate very well but this time it did.

This is 4 hand held shots stacked and processed in PS.
7" - F6.7 Newt/Dob.
15mm TV plossil and Ultima 2X barlow
ISO 100
1/50 of a second @ F5.6 each
Full optical zoom (4X)

I think that's a great shot. I would love to get something like that with my set-up.

Bob, That's very nice second attempt. I just bought a new digital camera and "steady pics" bracket from Orion and can't wait for a good night. I live on the east coast and the weather has been terrible for a week. Hope to post a first timer soon.
