Hi All,
This is my last picture of this object for this winter. The Lion is well here in our sky so the next images will be a few galaxies with my Meade 12" UHTC.
Unfortunately, the weather here is not great this year and my HorseHead will be again in B & W. I hope to have a better sky the next winter to take again this beautiful object with the color information.

IC-434 : HORSEHEAD NEBULA
Material :
- Losmandy HGM TITAN / Gemini Goto mount
- William Optics FLT-110 f/6.5 (715mm) Triplet APO refractor
- SBIG ST-10XME at -33°C
- SBIG CFW-8A
Accessories :
- William Optics FLT-110 field flattener
- Astronomik 13nm H-Alpha filter
Conditions :
- clear sky
- wind : NO
- Full Moon, strong light
Exposures : (Total)
H-Alpha = 28 exp. x 10 min. (binning 1x1)
Exposure information :
MaxIm DL CCD 3.21
CCD Tracking exposure = 7 sec.
ST-10XME selfguiding mode with the TITAN mount
Processing :
5 darks combined with the Ray Gralak Sigma Beta 11 Soft.
12 flat field taken with PRISM 5 and combined with the Ray Gralak Sigma Beta 11 soft.
Blooming removed with the Ron Wodaski's Debloomer plug in.
Luminance H-Alpha images aligned with MaxIm DL CCD 3.21 .
Luminance H-Alpha images combined with the Russ
Croman RCConsol Sigma.
"Sharp" Medium filter with SBIG CCDOPS 5.31
"Remove Cool pixels" Medium filter with SBIG CCDOPS 5.31
Level with PhotoShop.
