Any real difference between these Lumenera cameras?

Any recommendation for a source on the Infinity camera?

thx, Randy

Hello Randy,

I have both and, in my opinion, there is very little difference, if any.

I have the Skynyx 2-0 RGB and the Infinity 2-1M (mono).
I believe the mono is a much better choice and, for my use (I'm mostly a solar imager) the Infinity is better because it is prevalently white and the shape of its casing is better to disperse the internal (and external) heat.

They say the Skynyx family should be less noisy, but I have never seen any direct comparison.

However, both are superb cameras, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

As regards the source: do you mean a place where you can buy it? If that's the case, all you have to do is google it and I believe you'll find a source. I'm from Italy, so my sources wouldn't be very useful to you.

Hope this helps.

Ciao Randy
Luca
