Due to back problems I had to sell my 8" f6 Newt and opted for a much more compact and lighter scope to image the moon.
Here is my latest attempt from the morning of the 13th. Clavius and Morteus, 2 of my favorites.
Seeing was above average according to the local sky clock, nice change for sure.
8" Nexstar SCT @f16, Alt-Az mode, Toucam SPC 900NC camera,30 frames/sec, B&W Mode, 850/1680 frames stack in Registax, 8 point MAP processing (new to me still), finished in PS CS
Would sure like to get some processing pointers from this highly talented group.
