Hi to all,
This is my first ever astro picture. I shot this image with a Nikon D70 and AI200mm lens, non Digital lens, so this would be about a 360mm digital lens. I have no idea of what I'm doing, just gave it a try. This picture was croped about 50%. Redish color in left top corner was caused my my red flash light.
One of the things I was like to know is, guiding of the CI700 or is this good for a 606 second exposure?

No NR
ISO at 800
Only sitting was BULB
Shot was 606 seconds
Mount-CI700 no guiding

Thanks for looking and any help.
Robert

Sorry about the size, I don't know to make it smaller.

it looks good for a single image.

you should try multiple exposures and take some dark frames to subtract the noise to get a cleaner back ground. Maybe 5 to 6 180 second shots, then stack them with registax or what ever image software you use for processing.
