Does anyone know anything about a program called Easy Video Converter from Amigo software products? I have been using my daughter's camcorder to photograph Mars. The only way I have been able to get the data into my computer is in .mp2 format, which I need to convert to .avi to use RegiStax. This program is the only one I have found to do that. Before shelling out the $25.95 for it, I'd like to know if anyone has used it successfully. Any suggestions on an alternate approach are also welcome.

I have a similar program.. I bought it yesterday for $27.00 because I needed it to convert my mpg files to avi too.
I can give you the registration name and the serial number so you can use it for ever. You don't have to pay me anything for it, I just want to share.
