My C8 Project, Part I

Hi all,

The weather has not been very cooperative lately in my part of the world, so I have not been able to take too many new images. What I have been doing with the nights having the moon out is to work on a "project scope", a C8 that I got here at Amart that was out of collimation.

I thought I'd share with you the progress I've made so far. Not the best, but it does show signs of promise.

Camera used was a SAC-IV
Telescope @f/20 (Celestron Ultima Barlow)
AVI processed in Registax. About 50 or so images stacked.

I got a little bold after I saw how the Jupiter shot looked, so I decided to make a go for a DSO. Again, it's not perfect, and the scope shows that it needs some collimation, but hey. On top of that, the moon was still out, there was a haze, so I have some nasty gradients to deal with that I still have to learn, but..... (any feedback/tips appreciated).

L = 3 x 5 minutes, binned 1x1
RGB = 2 each x 5 minutes, binned 2x2
Scope was at f/6.3, camera was an SBIG ST-7E
