Here's a picture of Saturn that I took using a newly purchased Nikon 4300 w/12" LX200. Getting an accurate focus presents a problem since the camera's LCD is too small for accurate focusing....any suggestions would be most welcome....thanks...John

Hi John,

Very nice Saturn , when I used to image with an Olympus
C-2100 digital camera I bought a cheap pair of the highest
magnification reading glasses from Walmart and wore them
when focusing, it helped a lot and no I am not
almost blind and needed them to see with :>)
Just a cheap and wacky way of enlarging the image .

Thanks,

Wes Higgins

Hi John, I have the 4500 and the way I focus it is I zoom in all the way to the maxium digital zoom and then I focus from there. The image is blocky but you can tell where the best focus is, then zoom out to where you want to compose the photo. It works for me.

Hi John,
Very nice shot. There are screens that kids use for video/computer games that will plug into many cameras. I cannot recall the name but you can plug one into your camera and the image appears on the large 4X6" screen and it's easier to focus. I had one that worked in my Nikon Coolpix 4500.
