Hi all,
Great to see so many amazing pics lately, from Leroi's fabulous Jupiter and also lots of superb deep sky images!!
Here in Ontario Canada its been typical spring weather ie lots of clouds and rain especially at night of course!!
Last night I tried to get some lunar shots in despite lots of at times thick cirrus clouds and only 5/10 seeing, but hey I was desperate!
The only shot that half way turned out was of Theophilus and Cyrillus using a 3X's televue barlow and my 18' Starmaster. I had to use about 40% gain and a lot of brightness/gamma to compensate for the clouds, hence the contrast of the image is poor but it still shows a fair bit of detail. The stack is 130 out of 600, done in Reg 2 processed in Images Plus.
cheers and hoping for better weather!
